**UPDATE: she has found a home. 
Sweet Ellie, a delightful 4-year-old mini Bernedoodle, excels in her training, adores children, and is a social butterfly with humans and other dogs. While she's spayed, well-behaved, and a non-digger, her only quirk is occasional counter surfing. Weighing around 25 lbs, she's a cuddly companion who enjoys walks, runs, water adventures, and playing with toys. She's up-to-date on shots and heart-worm prevention, well-groomed by Aussie & Friends Mobile Dog Grooming. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she's seeking a loving forever home with a family who appreciates her loving nature. She is the most loving cuddly dog you will ever meet.

Aspen Would Like a Word

Hey there, hooman! Woof woof! I'm so excited to talk to you! Life is pawsome when you're a doggo like me. Every day is an adventure, sniffing around and wagging my tail. Belly rubs are the best thing ever, and treats? Oh boy, they make my tail go zoom!

I love going for walks, feeling the wind in my fur and exploring all the scents along the way.

I wuv naps. I find the coziest spot, curl up into a ball, and snooze away. Dreaming of chasing balls, digging in the dirt, and maybe even catching my own tail! When I wake up, I'm ready to play, cuddle, and shower you with sloppy kisses.

Oh, did I mention how much I adore my hooman? You're my best friend, my favorite playmate, and the one who gives me belly rubs and treats. You understand me like no one else does, and I'm forever grateful for your wuv.

Stella is a Hanging Tree Cow Dog born on 2/25/2018.  She came from a ranch north of Wellington from hard-working cattle dogs.  She has a very kind demeanor although she is not a lap dog.  She loves to be near people - by their feet or sitting next to them - but doesn’t really prefer to be held.  She is wicked smart and moves at a fast pace and loves to go on runs! 

She is a dog who prefers to be without other dogs as they tend to make her overactive.  She loves play time with other dogs but needs breaks for alone time.  She has been around kids her whole life and loves to play and interact.  She is very calm with them!  She is crate trained and has no problems cuddling into soft pillows and blankets and is only 30 pounds.  She also loves sleeping by you but prefers to be on the floor in the room. 

Stella is unhappy in her current environment with a brute of a male mate and would really love a home where she gets the attention and is the only dog in the house or a with other calmer dogs.

We are looking for a new forever home for Dooley who is a 4 year-old Old English sheepdog because his owner can sadly no longer care for him.
  • Dooley is very mellow and sweet and affectionate, about 85 or 90 pounds.
  • He gets along great with children and other dogs.
  • We have never seen him around cats.
Dooley currently lives in a small apartment with no yard and his owner knows that Dooley would have a richer life with a family with a back yard or a person who could safely take him on longer walks & to the dog park. He has anxiety when left alone but we think he would do fine if there was another animal in the house.If you want to set up a time to meet Dooley and see if he can be part of your family please text or call Michelle at 970-829-9800.

This keeps your pet happy and most importantly healthy. This may or may not mean trimming and cutting their hair. Frequent brushing and bathing is important to prevent mats in longer haired dogs and to keep healthy coats and skin for all dogs.

Breeds Needing More Frequent Grooming

Certain breeds are known for matting, having sensitive skin and simply require more grooming. 
  • Goldendoodle - this is one of the most common breeds needing care more often. 
  • Cocker Spanial
  • Maltese
  • Newfoundland
  • Sheepdogs
  • Shih Tzu 
  • Terriers
  • Australian Shepherd

The truth is, it hurts dogs to have matted hair and itchy unbrushed coats.

  • Receive grooming services every 4-6 weeks.
  • Brush every other day to every week depending on your dog.
